“She was warm, and then became cold. Her heart frozen solid, she was unable to process feelings and colors. Her icicle smile and her frosty skin hid the warmth inside her, until it, too, succumbed to the chilly blast of inaction, immobility, stasis.”

“Yeah, she died of hypothermia, Steve. Just fill out the sheet. You don’t have to be all poetic about it all the time.”
